- a.LiberatedWoman is a publication of The Pentagon Project, which is a forthcoming non-profit organization focused on liberating women of African descent from financial hardship through scholarships, resources, and opportunities. The Pentagon Project was founded by four Tennessee State Alumnae - Evelyn J. Shropshire, Fredrica M. Piphus, Marsheila J. Hayes, & Sherrae M. Hayes.
